Hello guys! It’s Holly here, I’m excited to be able to talk about what I’m passionate about again: custom log cabins! Did you know?! The first log homes built in Canada and the USA were constructed in the 1800 by Swedish (and Finnish) people. The layout of these cabins were simple enough for one single man to be able to build it out in a couple weeks.
I thought this video was interesting because he lays out a really good and foundational way to actually build out log cabins. Using this technique of notches will help you keep your log cabins warm and cozy. I’m a little mesmerized by how straight and almost perfect he got that chimney though….
